Marketing Tips for Members
How to Get the most out of your listing with CounsellingandTherapy.com
Increasingly new clients will search online to find a therapist when they are seeking help when in emotional distress. At CounsellingandTherapy.com our online presence is growing all the time and we want to help you get the very most out of your listing with us and give yourself every chance to showcase your qualifications and expertise to your potential new clients.
Here are some important marketing things to think about when you list with us.
Your Photograph
This is really important. Almost every client will want to see a photo of the therapist they will potentially be seeing every week and whether we like it or not, first impressions count. Ask yourself if your profile picture matches the image you are trying to portray. You could also consider using a professionally taken photo – a new client may be with you for 6-10 sessions so wouldn’t this be a potentially worthwhile investment?
Use your Titles
Use your name, and also your titles and accreditations. This engenders confidence in your skills and expertise.
Contact details
Make sure your contact details are correct. Go back and check them after you list to make sure there are no errors and that your potential clients won’t have any trouble contacting you.
Use all the listing space available
If you have a Free listing use all the available ‘bio’ space to your best advantage and capture the essence of how you work.
Remember that you can make changes to your profile at any time, just log in to your account and make the updates you wish.
