ABOUT ME & MY APPROACH
As a result of struggling to meet my own challenges in life, I have had a long interest in meditation, mind/body-fulness and environment/ Nature. The Gestalt Psychotherapy I practice ties all these together utilising the essential aspect of relationship.
I endeavour to create a safe, non-judgemental space with my clients where we can explore holistically a greater awareness of the situation. With increased awareness, understanding, acceptance and compassion can arise, the basis for self-confidence and peace of mind. I have found that until we can be with what is change does not present itself.
I see people with a wide range of issues as I work with the basic ways of how we experience ourselves/others/ life. I would, though, specialise in anxiety, co-dependency (the effects of being close to another's misuse) and LGBTQI concerns.
I have been teaching meditation and mindfulness since 2011 and seeing clients since 2015.
I offer sessions in-person; by skype call; phone and outside in Nature in the beautiful surrounds of East Clare.
