ABOUT ME & MY APPROACH
I am an experienced psychotherapist having worked in the field of mental health for the last two decades both in a community based service and private practice. Psychotherapy allows the client to explore issues and build a trusting relationship with the therapist. The therapeutic relationship formed between client and therapist remains central to effective psychotherapy. In this approach the client participates actively in the process. Engaging in psychotherapy is a deeply personal experience - where the uniqueness and singularity of each client is respected. This is an important part of my practice.
