Rob Byrne has worked for many years in Dublin's social services sector, now as Director Recovery for marginalized groups offering individual and residential group recovery programmes. Rob works in the areas of misuse, anxiety, self-esteem, depression and sexual identity. The therapeutic approach adopted is both psychoanalytically informed and person centred therapy. Combined with a BA in Philosophical and Social Care from the Milltown Institute, MA in Psychology and H.dip in Education from Trinity College Dublin Rob also holds an MA in Psychoanalytically informed Psychotherapy. Rob is a member of APPI (Association for Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy in Ireland) and ICP (Irish Council for Psychotherapy).

Rob works both psychodynamically and cognitively with clients. The practice offers a number of therapeutic approaches practiced by a variety of therapists.
