ABOUT ME & MY APPROACH
Robert completed his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, a Higher Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy, and a Master's in Psychotherapy with Dublin Business School. He adheres to the IAHIP Code of Ethics and is committed to regular supervision.
Robert facilitates 1-1 psychotherapy, exploring issues such as depression, anxiety, stress, trauma, workplace performance, sexuality, sexual abuse, identity, and finding meaning. He has experience creating and delivering workshops for corporate and education sectors, covering a range of topics such as Mindfulness, Relationships, Authenticity, and Connection. He formerly worked as a youth and social care worker.
A keen area of interest for Robert is the innate human connection to nature and how it can be used within the therapeutic process. Robert's therapeutic style is Humanistic-Integrative, drawing on Gestalt, Existentialism, Psychodynamic, Bioenergetics, and Nature Therapy approaches, among others. He brings warmth to sessions, offering a safe and confidential space.
