ABOUT ME & MY APPROACH
Based in Harold’s Cross Lisajane Fitzsimon offers counselling and psychotherapy services in a confidential and secure environment. Lisajane holds a first class BSc in Counselling and Psychotherapy. I am a member of and work within the guidelines of the Irish Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP). I also undertake regular supervision and participate in ongoing personal and professional development. I have experience in treating a range of emotional and psychological issues including: anxiety, depression, relationship problems, bereavement, anger issues, eating disorders, self-acceptance and sexuality. I also work with people who simply want to consider the ‘story’ of their lives and who feel their journey needs rethinking or taking in a new direction. Working with adolescents and adults, my approach is humanistic and integrative. Drawing on a number of theories and methods, including CBT and psychodynamic, I aim to work with each client in a way that is best suited to their individual needs.
