Working from a pluralistic perspective, Róisín integrates Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) amongst other approaches, tailoring therapy to the individual client. Róisín works with clients struggling with various types of issues including anxiety, stress, cancer, other health issues, grief, loss, family and relationship issues.

With a particular interest in the area of health-care and cancer support, Róisín has experience with various healthcare teams such as Arthritis Ireland, ARC Cancer Support Centres, YouCan Ireland and Mouth Cancer Awareness Ireland, facilitating support groups and working therapeutically with those affected by cancer and other illnesses.

Róisín regularly gives Mindworthy workshops on Self-Care, Compassion Fatigue and Burnout to various organisations such as the Irish Institute of Radiography and Radiation Therapy (IIRRT), The Academy of Clinical Science and Laboratory Medicine (ACSML), and the HSE. She often gives talks on patients’ experiences of cancer, and for the last number of years, she has been a guest lecturer on patient care to the students of Radiation Therapy, School of Medicine, Trinity College Dublin.
