ABOUT ME & MY APPROACH
I am a fully qualified and accredited Counsellor and Psychotherapist. I hold both a Diploma and Degree in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy. I attend Continual Professional Development workshops throughout the year. I also hold a Diploma in Mindfulness and Wellbeing and have started to introduce this into the therapy room with some of my clients. I have completed a Diploma in Counselling Children and Adolescents. I am a member of the NAPCP and EAC and adhere to their code of ethics. I am also fully Garda vetted.
Having studied in colleges that embraced Person Centred and Solution Focused Therapy I use this therapy in my practice as well as introducing Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) when appropriate.
In my practice I provide a confidential and professional one-to-one Counselling Service. I am flexible and creative in my practice and tailor therapy to my clients' individual needs and goals. I find that by working together with my clients they can find positive ways to move forward and achieve their personal goals.
I believe in looking after our minds which is not always an easy task... but when we do take care of our minds and our thoughts it becomes possible to feel stronger, more positive and regain control of our lives.
