ABOUT ME & MY APPROACH
I have over two decades of experience working as a therapist. I offer support to Individuals and Couples in emotional and psychological pain or who are dealing with difficult challenges in life. My therapeutic ethos is humanistic, integrative and psychodynamic. I work non-judgementally and compassionately using the strategies that most suit my clients needs while adhering to my clients agenda. I help clients to clarify issues, gain perspective, develop self awareness and consider and implement choices that promote healing and wellbeing. Couples issues are explored without judgement and with compassion and respect and may involve growing and deepening a relationship, repairing a ruptured relationship or indeed navigating the dissolution of a relationship.
As a Parent Mentor, my purpose is to provide parents and others who care for children with the knowledge and skills necessary to enable them to parent/nurture children effectively. I have particular experience in helping parents navigate separation and divorce so that during this challenging time their children's sense of security and emotional and psychological wellbeing is prioritised and protected.
