ABOUT ME & MY APPROACH
When we are met with warmth respect and acceptance it can be very powerful. That feeling of being accepted just as we are can help us feel safe enough to look at what might causing our current difficulties and distress.
I have a special interest in anxiety and stress management, and how managing emotions can be distressing in our daily lives. Difficult early experiences can often continue to impact on our adult selves. My counselling approach is suitable for individuals who experience distressing repetitive patterns in their adult relationships.
The aim of the counselling sessions is to provide support while increasing understanding, self confidence and trust in your ability to cope with difficult life events. Working together we can draw on my training in various counselling approaches to explore what would be most helpful for you at this time.
