ABOUT ME & MY APPROACH
My therapeutic approach in my clinical work with clients is Psychodynamic in nature. I have over 20 years’ experience working within the Health Care Sector. During my career I have held both clinical and management roles and gained extensive experience of providing Person-Centred care to individuals with varying emotions needs. I have also provided consultancy to various general medical, charitable and mental health organizations in relation to their organizational structure and development of best practice policies and protocols.
I have a deep appreciation of Psychoanalysis and a passion for Psychoanalytic theory and technique. I regularly attend Lectures and Seminars with The Institute of Psychoanalysis, London. and I have completed the postgraduate Foundation course.
My desire to deepen my understanding of objects relations theory and Kleinian technique has led me to pursue my own analytic process with a Kleinian trained analyst for the last number of years. My clinical supervisor is also a Kleinian trained analyst. My analyst and supervisor are Fellow Members of The institute of Psychoanalysis London. I have a particular interest in the area of Trauma.
